Whether they are complementary products that you suggest renting in addition to a main product or package, or products to purchase because they are necessary for the use of the rented product, you will use the associated products feature.
Here are the steps to follow:
TABLE OF CONTENTS
OMS (Sylius)
1. Open "Association Types" in the Catalog section.
2. Create a new association type, for example, "Complementary Rental Products."
Caution! The screen above shows two different types of associations. Currently, it is not possible to display products from different association types separately within a product listing or package. They will all be displayed under the same title defined in Prismic.
In a product
Open a product listing that should have an associated product for rent: Products > Open the product > Associations > Complete the association type you created by searching for the associated product(s).
In a pack
Open a package listing that should have one or more associated products. Navigate to the bottom of the package page and add associated products. It is not possible to add associated packages to a package.
If you can't find the product you're looking for in the list of associated products
You can check that the product you want to associate has a name on its variant(s). Indeed, it's the variant name that is displayed in the dropdown list when you start typing the product's name.
