Welcome to this module dedicated to the visual part of your rental or second-hand service.

This first article describes the overall functioning of the tool used by Lizee to manage the visual of the sites and called Prismic.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Everything related to the catalog of products to rent or buy and their categories can be found in the Order Management System (Sylius), described in the E-commerce part of this Help center.
• Prismic allows you to modify the content of the texts, images and videos of the site up to the acquisition funnel. Everything related to fonts, text colors and other layouts will be managed marginally via css adjustments, made by Lizee's developers.

The route is made up of the following stages:

1. Home page
2. Page Pack or Shop
3. (Product pages or Packs)
4. Basket
5. Acquisition funnel

The acquisition funnel is made up of 3 steps:

1. Registration/Login
2. Choice of delivery or collection method
3. Payment

Visual organization of Prismic

Prismic contains a set of documents (= pages) and media (= images, videos, pdf…). They are accessible via the menu on the left:

Each document is a page of the website, with a few exceptions, such as the “General” document, which contains parameters common to all pages.

Some pages have multiple tabs, such as the homepage for example:

New pages can be added by clicking on 'Create New' then choosing the type of page to create:

How to save the changes made on Prismic and how to see them on the website?

On each modified page (in orange), click on Save then on Publish.

Only published changes are visible on the site. The fact that it is not visible before publication makes it possible to prepare a set of changes and publish them at a time defined upstream, during a group publication.

As long as the site is under development (before the official launch of the service) or if it is a test site, published changes are visible approximately 10 seconds after publication. Be sure to refresh the web page of your browser to see the changes. Otherwise, clear your cache.

When the service is launched, published modifications are only visible after a restart of the server, carried out by the Lizee project manager or by a Lizee developer.

In this case, you must request a restart of the server after each major modification is made.
