Free Page: Add a popup to a Text or Column element on a free page.

Modified on Tue, 10 Oct, 2023 at 4:50 PM

In the above example of a popup, you can see that a popup is an image or a video that opens over the content of the page, graying out the background.

This content can only be added to a free page of the website, within a Text or Column element.

To set up a popup on the website

1. In Prismic, click on 'Create New' at the top right.

2. Select 'Pop up.' Fill in the name of your popup at the top, next to the back arrow. For example, indicate the name of the page where the popup will be inserted.

3. Next, complete the Popup Image with the thumbnail of the popup before it is opened. If a thumbnail is not desired, add a label in Popup CTA, and a button will be displayed to open the popup.

4. In Popup content, add a link to the video hosted online, on YouTube, Vimeo, or elsewhere.

5. Free Page > Text or Column Element > Click on Select a popup.

6. Select the popup to add from the list that opens
