Modified on Tue, 11 Jul, 2023 at 9:56 AM

If you already have your transport system set up between your warehouse and your stores and if you also want to use it to transport rental or second-hand orders, here is the solution that Lizee can offer.

Prerequisites:

  • already have a round trip logistics system in place between the product storage warehouse and the stores that will distribute them to customers with a frequency of trips compatible with rental or second-hand needs and who agrees to work with Lizee's personalized labels
  • be storing rental products in 1 single warehouse

Solution Name: Store Delivery Custom (SDC)

Process:

  • the warehouse prepares rental or second-hand orders and places them in dedicated bins near the departure dock
  • packages have custom labels created by Lizee. The Outwards label contains the first and last name of the customer, his phone number and his order number as well as the address of the store which will distribute the order. The return label contains the customer's information again as well as the address of the storage warehouse as the recipient of the order.
  • Upon receipt of the order in store, the package is scanned in the RMS (Outwards > Order List > Click on the link under “Follow the parcel” then on the “Receipt of package from order XXX” screen, click on “Confirm receipt of the package”), its status changes to “to withdraw” and the customer receives an email indicating that his order has arrived in store.
  • When the customer picks up the package in store, this receipt is recorded in the RMS (Outwards > Pick up an order then click on the order and then on “Validate the withdrawal of the package”)
  • At the end of the rental, the customer returns his order to the same store as on the way out, the return is registered by the store, the condition of the products is checked at this time (Returns > Register a return > Scan of the return package then of each product and its condition). Then, the package is taken over by the return carrier to the central warehouse.
  • The warehouse puts products back in condition, then in stock before the next rental.

Note:

  • Since the carrier is dedicated to the brand, we are not connected to the real-time tracking of the package, so the status is not updated in real time according to the progress of the package.
  • A specific role has been created so that stores can validate the receipt of orders from the warehouse and validate that customers have received them.
