How to prepare an order?

Modified on Tue, 11 Jul, 2023 at 9:10 AM

In this article, you will find out how to manage order preparation, picking/packing and editing transport slips.

Go to the “Outwards” section then to “Prepare an order”.

This module allows you to have a view of all orders to be prepared today (default filter) but also orders that will be prepared on the following days (to do this, choose the date you want in the filter).

For each order you can see:

  • Its shipping date
  • Whether it is a priority or not
  • Its status
  • Its carrier

To start the preparation, just click on the “Prepare” button on the far left and a new page appears with the contents of the order.

You can go to one of the suggested locations to pick up the item and then scan its unique identifier (not its EAN!). Repeat the operation with all items needed for the order.

Once the picking is complete, a new page appears asking you for the number of packages that make up the order so that you can print the correct number of shipping notes (all items may not fit in a single container, so we can divide the order in several packages).

Download or print the shipping notes and the delivery note. You can then slip the return label and the delivery note into one of the order packages, the outbound label(s) are to be stuck on the packages.

In the case of models in flex or date-to-date (no predefined return date), there is no return label, this is normal.

The order preparation is now complete.
