How to access the tracking of a parcel to track it in real time?

Modified on Tue, 11 Jul, 2023 at 11:29 AM

Whether it's an outward or return package, you may need to access the carrier's tracking to find out where this package is in its journey and if it has been delivered to the customer.

As a reminder, we can only track parcels if the solution is connected to carrier notifications. We will therefore have no trackin in the case of the Store Delivery Custom transport solution proposed here and of course we will not have any in the InStore model, where products are delivered directly to customers in person.

Outwards tracking

From the moment the order is prepared, a transport slip is created and associated with the order. It is then possible to track the location of the package, depending on the accuracy of the chosen carrier.

In Outwards > Order List, find the name of the carrier for each order as well as the link to access the parcel tracking, in blue:

Example of Geodis tracking:

Example of Colissimo tracking:

Example of DPD tracking:

Example of Chronopost tracking:

In Outwards > Forth parcel list, you even find a list whose first column is the parcel tracking link, if you have to do a search based on that.

Return Tracking

Return trackings are created:

  • from the preparation of the order for 'date to date' rental models
  • when generating the return form by the customer for the subscription models (flex and classic subscription)

They are found in Returns > List of returns
