First of all, your products are specific, the procedure described below may not be suitable for them.
Indeed, heat sealing is reserved for non-fragile textile articles.
Lizee usually goes through the supplier Thermotex for heat sealers and for PUID labels but you can choose to work through your usual label supplier.
As a reminder, the PUID can be a barcode or a QR code. You can add a logo and any other information you like.
The PUID must be placed in a strategic location on each product:
- that does not suffer too much friction (not under the shoulder straps of a backpack obviously nor under a suitcase handle)
- easily accessible enough to perform the various scans during the product repair process.
- which will not bother the user (by its thickness, or friction on the skin for clothing)
- on an element that the user will not forget to return (not on the removable belt of an outfit or on the packaging box of a product that could be returned without this box)
- on a "mono-layer" place as much as possible, so as not to stick the 2 sides of a pocket together or not to stick a cover to its product for example.
- Bring products and labels close to the heat sealer
- Start the heat sealer and wait for the temperature to reach 204°C (Check the compatibility of your products with this process)
- Place the PUID on the item
- Wait 12 seconds
