Generic - Orders Dashboard (Subscriptions)

Find here all the indicators used in the generic orders (subscriptions) dashboard (accessible to all clients within their scope), as well as the analyzed scope.

General Definitions

1. Order within a Subscription:

   - An order is placed within the context of a subscription. Each order has a status, a creation date, a start date for rental, and an end date for rental. The end date corresponds to the subscription anniversary.

2. First Order:

   - A "first" order refers to the initial order a customer makes when using the rental service for the first time.

3. Multiple Orders in a Given Month of Subscription:

   - In a given subscription month, multiple orders can be placed to exchange items, return items, or order additional items.

4. Automatic Renewal of First Order:

   - Without any specific action from a customer, the first order is automatically renewed monthly, retaining the same items.

5. Cart Creation Date:

   - When a visitor arrives on the website, a cart is automatically created. This creation date is considered. If the cart is not used within 30 days (no order placed), it is removed.

     Examples:

     - A visitor first comes to the rental site on April 5, a cart creation date is assigned on April 5. If no order is placed, and the visitor returns on April 15 and makes an order, the cart creation date is noted as April 5, and the order creation date is April 15.

     - If the visitor returns on May 10 and places an order, the cart creation date is noted as May 10, as the 30-day period without finalizing an order from the previous cart has passed.

6. Order Creation Date:

   - The date on which the order is successfully completed in the checkout of the payment page, and the order is confirmed.

7. Conversion Rate of First Orders:

   - For each period (monthly or weekly), the ratio between the number of first orders and the number of unique visitors. The number of unique visitors is derived from Matomo data.

8. Number of Prospects:

   - The number of customer accounts (including unconfirmed accounts) that have not placed any orders.

9. Abandoned Cart Rate:

   - The ratio between the number of abandoned carts (source: Matomo data) and the total (abandoned carts + completed orders).

Filters:

The filters applied to the dashboards are always located at the top of each dashboard.

The first one, called "Customer" is only relevant for customers who have multiple entities within Lizee.

The second one, called "Analysis Period" allows filtering most visualizations based on the creation dates of completed orders within subscriptions. (*specific visualizations mentioned below)

A third hidden filter allows keeping only orders of the subscription type (classic_subscription_order and subscription_order).

KPIs:

All the KPIs below are based on completed orders and therefore require filtering based on the statuses of orders and subscriptions:

  • Orders with a status of "new" or "fulfilled"
  • Subscriptions with a status of "awaiting_payment," "fulfilled," "in_progress," or "in_coming""

List of KPIs:

1. Number of First Orders: The count of orders placed by new customers (one order per customer).

2. Amount: The total amount of associated orders that will be billed to the customer. If delivery fees are applied, they will be included here.

3. Average Cart - First Order: The average amount of orders (the ratio between the total amount and the number of first orders).

KPIs in blue are connected to the 'Analysis Period' filter."

Copy of the second part of the dashboard:

The four graphs and four tables in this second part illustrate the evolution of the number and associated amounts of 'first orders' (see above). These results are broken down in four different ways:

  • By basket creation date:
    • By week of creation
    • By month of creation

  • By order creation date:
    • By week of creation
    • By month of creation

The tables on the right also express the calculated average basket (per week or per month).

The two visuals above display the delay (distribution and average delay) between the basket creation date and the order date. On the subscription part, the delay is close to 0 days (meaning the basket creation is quickly followed by the order).

Copy of the third part of the dashboard:

The two graphs and two tables in this section illustrate the evolution of the conversion rate and traffic, per month and per week (refer to general definitions).

These two graphs illustrate on the same visual the number of first orders and the associated traffic (number of visits).

Copy of the fourth part of the dashboard:

In this section covering all orders, the same visuals as those presented in the first part of the dashboard (on first orders) are displayed, but they take into account all orders related to subscriptions.

An additional indicator is included: it concerns the amount of orders excluding fees (deliveries). In this case, there is no difference; however, for other cases, the distinction can be useful.

These results are broken down in four different ways:

  • By basket creation date:
    • By week of creation
    • By month of creation

  • By order creation date:
    • By week of creation
    • By month of creation

A supplementary visual is added in this section

It allows distinguishing, within the orders, between the first orders, the orders that are renewed 'automatically,' and other orders: exchanges/additions/returns of items from one month to another.

Copy the fifth part of the dashboard:

These two visuals focus on the ordered products:

  • The left graph illustrates the top 10 most ordered products. Caution: it also includes order renewals within subscriptions.
  • The right graph illustrates the distribution of sizes of items present in the orders.

Copy of the sixth part of the dashboard:

This final section displays two different indicators (on a monthly and weekly basis):

  • The number of prospects
  • The abandoned cart rate
