Track all the metrics related to orders placed on the Order Management System: number of orders, revenue, etc.
The data in this view comes directly from the Order Management System (OMS).
The "Summary" page includes data from the launch of the service, while the other pages contain date selectors.
In the case of brands with InStore (multiple stores managing their own product inventory), the statistics displayed in this section include data from all the stores combined.
Summary
For services using the flex or classic subscription model, the total number of orders also includes renewals and product exchanges (restocking). In the case of renewals, a new "order" is generated automatically each month if the customer has not returned their products.
Cancelled and refunded orders are included, as well as all test orders made with test email addresses or Lizee email addresses on the production platform. Therefore, these figures represent the highest numbers that can be considered.
Orders
It is possible to export the list of orders within the selected dates by clicking on the "Export Data" button at the top right of this view. This list is provided in CSV format.
Furthermore, if the VAT rates and the amounts excluding taxes do not appear in the view, it means that the "World" zone has not been removed in the Sylius administration, as it should be (please discuss this with your project manager if it is not clear).
Date-to-date: We include orders whose order date (different from the rental date) falls within the selected date range.
Example: If today is February 23rd and someone reserves a product from March 3rd to March 6th, their order will be displayed as long as February 23rd is within the selected date range.
Flex/Classic subscription: Similarly, we include orders whose order date (different from the subscription start date) is within the selected date range.
Example: If I place an order on February 28th, and my subscription starts 4 days later on March 4th, my order will still be associated with the date of February 28th in this display.
How to zoom in on the number of orders in the revenue and number of orders chart?
Simply click on the revenue (pink) in the chart legend to stop displaying revenue-related data. The vertical scale will adjust to display the number of orders.
How to determine the number of non-cancelled orders?
You need to calculate "Total Number of Orders" minus "Number of Cancelled Orders." In the example below, there are 60 non-cancelled orders:
Revenue (CA) in the flex and classic subscription models: Since revenue is calculated here by taking all orders placed, it is assumed that customers will not cancel their subscriptions for the current month. Therefore, it represents an optimistic revenue figure that assumes every started month is billed, even though in reality, the system operates based on the actual number of rental days.
Products
Find information about the products in orders within a date range.
This view shows the total number of products ordered between the two selected dates, as well as the average number of products per order.
The pie chart representing product distribution by the number of orders will be transformed into a top 10 list of the most ordered products during the period.
Customers
This view indicates the number of customers who have placed at least one order (even if their order was later canceled) and the number of accounts created (number of sign-ups) between the selected dates.
The number of customer accounts that have never placed an order can be obtained by subtracting these two figures. For example, in the example below, it is 106.
