At different places in the RMS, you are offered to scan a stock location.
It actually consists of giving more precision on the place where each product is stored in order to find it out more easily in the future.
You always have 2 options:
- either you gave names to storage locations and you can create associated barcodes using a free site of this type. All you have to do is print these barcodes and stick them at each location.
- either you have not yet gone so far in the stock organization, in this case, you can simply indicate a string of characters which will allow you to easily find the product. For example "at the top right of the shelves".
You can then assign a location to one or more products of the same EAN by going to Stock > 'Associate a location' > 'to a unique product' and scanning the product PUID and its location.

Finally, you can move a set of products from one location to another by going to Stock > Move unique products: enter the original location, select the references present in this location that you want to move (be careful, you are given SKUs here, you can find the correspondence between SKU and EAN or product name in Stock > List of unique products), then scan the arrival location to validate the movement of these references.
