Connect your Adyen account for payment

Modified on Wed, 4 Oct, 2023 at 5:32 PM

If you wish to use Adyen instead of Stripe to manage payments for your rental or second-hand service, here's what you need to do:

Information to configure in your Adyen account

  • Open a merchant account with a user who only has access to this merchant account and add: Email: awirbel@lizee.co (our CTO).
  • Create an API credential in Developers > API credentials.
  • Put your "Client key" in Developers > API credentials > the relevant account > Client settings > client_key.
  • Add the staging and production site in "Add allowed origins" just below.

Information to provide to your project manager

  • Your merchant account.
  • Your customer account ID.
  • Your API key.

Testing to perform

In the staging environment of your rental or second-hand website, Lizee's Adyen test account will be set up. Orders placed in the staging environment will not allow testing whether the Adyen configuration has been done correctly.

You will need to place an order in the production environment to validate this configuration (sufficiently before the service launch to allow for corrections if needed).
