How to give an order to a customer

If the customer picks up his package in store or in warehouse

InStore

If you are in an InStore configuration (each store manages its stock of products for rent or for second-hand sale) or in a mixed configuration (you send your packages but allow customers to pick them up at the main warehouse), here is how to indicate to the RMS that the package has been delivered:

  • Option 1: in the RMS: Outwards > Pick up an order > click on the link under "Follow the parcel"
  • Option 2: Scan the barcode generated at the end of order preparation, for example:

In both cases, we arrive on a new screen of the RMS, which gives the contact details of the customer and the content of his order, and which allows you to add a comment during the withdrawal. This comment will be displayed again when the products are returned.

Be sure to click on "Confirm the withdrawal of the parcel" to validate the new status of the order to "Arrived".

When delivering the parcel, there are often non-RMS instructions to follow, for example offering consumable products associated with the rented products, asking for a deposit, verifying the customer's identity, filling out an inventory. Please refer to the training given at the launch of the service to know the details of these steps.

Store Delivery Custom

If you are in the Store Delivery Custom configuration (the carrier is dedicated to the brand and the stores do the quality control of the return packages), there is an additional step to do: before giving the package to the customer, the store must indicate that it has received this package from its warehouse. Then the parcel withdrawal by the customer occurs.

Step 1 :

As for the InStore mode, there are 2 ways to proceed.

  • Option 1: in the RMS: Outwards > Order List > click on the link under "Follow the parcel"
  • Option 2: Scan the barcode generated at the end of the order preparation step, for example:

Instead of allowing the customer to validate the parcel pick up, the screen that opens (“Receipt of parcel from order XXX”) allows you to “Confirm receipt of the parcel”.

The order then changes to “To withdraw” status.

The customer receives an email indicating that its parcel is available in store.

Step 2:

After verifying the customer's identity and order number, you can give them their rented products by following these steps.

  • Outwards > Pick up an order > click on the link under "Follow the parcel"
  • Click on “Validate the withdrawal of the parcel”

The status changes to “Arrived” at the end of the step.
