Cancel an order

You may need to cancel an order because the items that were supposed to be rented are no longer available, or because the customer has called you to request cancellation, or for another reason specific to your situation. Here's how to proceed.


By guiding the customer to cancel his order

If order preparation has not yet begun, the customer can go to their customer account and click on "Cancel my order" next to their order number.


A window will then appear, asking the customer to confirm the cancellation of the order. This cancellation will initiate the refund process for the customer.



The customer will receive an order cancellation email and a refund confirmation email.


By using the OMS (Sylius)

As long as the order preparation is not completed, you can cancel the order through the OMS. 

1. Locate the specific order by navigating to Sales > Orders and use the filters.

2. Click on Cancel in the top right


3. Confirm the cancellation

The customer will receive an order cancellation email.


Please note that this cancellation does not automatically initiate a refund; it simply stops the logistical process of the order.
