This article describes the process of registering a return package from a rental when there is no return label (it hasn't been printed or given to the customer) or when the label is unreadable.
Indeed, the process with a return label (see here) begins with scanning that label, so there is a solution to proceed without it.
1. Returns > Register a Return
2. Click on the danger button:
3. Scan the SKU of an item contained in the package.
4. A list of potential packages to which this SKU may belong will appear.
5. Click on the correct package (based on the renter's name).
6. Perform a quick (visual) check of the item.
7. Categorize the item:
- "Restock" (if the item hasn't been used by the end customer).
- "Refurbish" (the item will be rechecked, cleaned, and disinfected).
- "Defective" (when you observe that the item is damaged and cannot be repaired).
- "To repair" (if you know the issue can be fixed).
7 bis - If you have chosen "to repair" or "defective," the system will ask you for additional information about the problem: you can select a type of issue from the list, add a handwritten comment, and even include a photo of the problem. Then, validate to proceed to the next step.
8. Repeat this process with all items in the package.
9. Click on "Package processing completed."
